Student council hosts second annual club showcase

On August 19, the St. Patrick Student Council hosted a club showcase to exhibit all of the different organization options for our students. The showcase was held to inform our new students and to reassemble old members. A large number of posters were set up all around the cafeteria. The students were able to take notice of the wide selection of clubs during their lunch period. These posters were full of information regarding the first meeting, dues, grade eligibility, and a summary of what the club is about.

From service organizations to honor societies, our students are called to be a part of many clubs offered here at St. Patrick. Some of the service organizations include Key Club and Interact Club. These clubs help support our community by offering service. We also have many honor societies as well. Science Honor Society, English Honor Society, and National Honor Society are a few that many students are involved it. Academics and service are important in these clubs!

Student Council plays a big role in promoting school spirit and providing service to the school and community. This organization plans many events including homecoming and the toga dance. The Student Council did an exceptional job of making the student body aware of all of the different organizations available to them at St. Patrick Catholic High School. The Student Council Club Showcase was a major success. It was great to see so many students showing interest in the posters. From the seventh grade to seniors, from academia to athletics, there is something for everyone!
