Student Council introduces the variety of clubs at St. Patrick

Last Thursday, August 23, Student Council held a club showcase during both lunches. Posters displayed the amazing opportunities at St. Patrick for students to get involved in the school and in the community. The School has a club that is suitable for anyone. Students were able to ask Student Council members for more information on each club available and were also given the chance to sign up. This showcase was a part of the “Welcome to St. Patrick Week” hosted by Student Council with the help of Mrs. Buckley.

Clubs at St. Patrick include Arts and Crafts Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Drama Guild, Interact Club, Key Club, Robotics, Students for Life, Quiz Bowl, SAVE, and Mock Trial. There are also many honor societies available at St. Patrick, including National Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Science Honor Society, and English Honor Society.

Student Council Member Teal Salloum said, “I would consider this year’s club showcase to be a major success. All of the clubs were well-represented, and the students were excited to learn about all the clubs St. Patrick has to offer!”

Students should join at least a couple of the many great clubs at the school in order to not only spend quality time with friends but also to give to the community and spread the love and kindness that is home to St. Patrick.
