Students For Life Club Hosts First Meeting
Friday Morning, September 1st, the Students for Life club hosts their first meeting of the new school year. Students in grades 9th through 12th are able to attend. President of the club, Makayla Pfarrer, talks to new members about what the club is all about.
The club takes an annual trip to the “March for Life” rally in Washington D.C. Aside from the trip, the students work year round on fundraisers, projects, and ways to raise awareness of the value of all kinds of life. One example of a way the club works is last year, they spent a day decorating the sidewalk with prolife quotes and verses. Also, they left sticky notes on the bathroom mirrors to remind students about their importance.
If you would like to join Students for Life, please check the calendar and be sure to attend the next meeting or talk to Makayla or the club sponsor, Mrs. Emily Cloud.
