Students for Life Club meets to discuss March for Life
St. Patrick Students for Life (SFL) Club is a great way for all students, grades 7 through 12, to get involved with a wonderful cause and help change the world. SFL participates in multiple events throughout the course of the year, not only within the school and nearby communities, but also in nation-wide events. Members work to inspire students and create an environment of passion for completing the works of God. SFL members also bring love and hope to members of the community, in particular struggling mothers and newborns without loving families. All students should greatly consider being a part of Students for Life. It is a wonderful way to get involved in the community and make a difference.
The biggest project Students for Life participates in is the March for Life held in Washington, D.C., each year. Members travel to D.C. to walk in the March, attend masses, and grow together as a family in Christ. Spots for this trip fill up very quickly, so signing up as soon as possible is recommended. Signups open on different dates for each grades (12 is first, then 11 and so on). To attend the March, one must be a member of Students for Life.
Students for Life meetings are held in Mrs Cloud’s room, the club sponsor. This past week, members voted on club officers. Election results will be posted on the website and announced as soon as the results are counted. The next meeting will be announced within the coming weeks.
