Students in Technology Foundations courses learn how to code their own websites

This week has been a busy one for students in Mrs. Gryder’s Technology Foundations course. They have been tasked with creating their own website to learn how to code.

On why she selected this project, Mrs. Gryder said, “This project is a great introduction to the language of HTML. It continues to grow as students learn how to link pages to their home page and learn how to enhance their websites using styling texts and elements. I told them they needed to choose a subject that they were familiar with and be able to write about. Code.org takes them step-by-step through the process.”

Students are able to mentor their peers on this project as well, as explained in the below video of Juliana Sabagh and Gia Alley.
