Ten percent of St. Patrick Catholic High School Class of 2018 students sign athletic letters of intent
Congratulations to eight seniors for signing letters of intent to play their respective sport at the next level!
Athletes include:
- Raven Blackwell (softball at Jones County Junior College)
- Raylen Blackwell (softball at Jones County Junior College)
- Austin Schepens (football at Millsaps College)
- Ryan Hymel (soccer at Hinds County Community College)
- Makayla Pfarrer (soccer at Millsaps College)
- Tyler Musial (soccer at William Carey University)
- Tayler Ibele (track and field at Christian Brothers University)
- Anthony Schloegel (tennis at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College)
On the successes of the SPCHS Class of 2018 athletes, SPCHS Athletic Director Eddie Burger said, “The goal of any athletic program should be to develop your student-athletes and prepare them to further their careers at the next level. I am extremely proud of this group, as they have worked hard to become not only great athletes but also great citizens within our community. It brings a great sense of pride to our programs knowing that our students can thrive both in the classroom and on the athletic fields, leaving St. Patrick prepared to take on whatever this life will throw at them.”
