Good Evening St. Patrick Students, Parents, Faculty, and Staff!

We had an excellent first day of school on Friday – we are very excited to have your family at St. Patrick and look forward to an excellent school year! Our administration, faculty, and staff remain committed to advancing our mission of scholarship, discipleship, and championship!

We will have our first school-wide mass this Thursday, August 11. Parents and family members are invited to join us for mass each week. On Thursday, all students should dress following the liturgy uniform to include their blazers and ties. We will also take school pictures this Thursday. Information about ordering pictures will be emailed out later this week.

Students will receive a copy of each of their course textbooks to keep at home for completing coursework and studying course content. There is no additional fee for textbooks – they are included in the price of tuition. Also, teachers will have a classroom-set of textbooks, so students will not need to transport their textbooks back and forth to school. Textbooks may be checked out from the St. Patrick library media center anytime between tomorrow and August 19. Our library media center is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. Textbooks will need to be returned to the library media center at the end of the school year.

Become a strategic partner – we are still taking orders for ads in the fall athletic program and stadium signs!  Our annual sports and activities program and stadium sign advertisements offer a great opportunity to advertise businesses, spotlight family and alumni legacies, or honor a student-athlete with a special message. The money raised from these ads and signage benefit all of our student-athletes at St. Patrick. Student-athletes and parents may find the link to the athletic ads and stadium signage form here: Athletic Program and Stadium Signage Form.

Have you joined the St. Patrick Gold Club yet?  Members of the Gold Club are some of our biggest fans and supporters of the Irish Fund. When you join the Gold Club, you give to ensure students at St. Patrick Catholic High School have all they need to be successful in our athletic programs and extracurricular activities.  As we continue to support champions, we know you’ll be at the tailgate and in the bleachers cheering on our student-athletes!  You may find the link to the Gold Club membership form here: Join the Irish Fund’s Gold Club.

Jeremiah 33:2-3: This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it — the Lord is his name: Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.

In a universe of billions of stars, think of the power of God who made them and knows each of their names. Think of all he knows that we don’t. Think of all he has seen that is not in our history books. Think of all he has done and can do. Add to this that he invites us to speak to him about the things of our heart and you understand the great expanse of his grace and the very limited knowledge of our minds.

Almighty God, there are so many things about which I am grossly ignorant. There are so many things in my world that I can’t keep up. There are so many things about you that I long to know but I can’t begin to comprehend. Please, dear Father, give me more of you: Help me know more about you so that I may personally know you more completely. You are beyond me, so please deal gently with me as you reveal yourself. I look forward with anticipation to knowing you face to face in heaven, the Unsearchable and the Almighty God. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

At St. Patrick, we strive to provide the best academic, educational experience possible.

We are excited to welcome eight new teachers to our faculty this year!  All of these teachers, along with our returning faculty, attended four action-filled days of professional development as they prepared for the start of the new school year.

Over the summer, brand new, state-of-the-art interactive promethean smartboards were installed in all classrooms on campus.  At St. Patrick, one of our goals is to make sure our students and faculty are equipped with the latest technology to truly enhance the second-to-none curriculum and instruction our team provides.  This project was made possible by the generosity of our benefactors – those who love and support our school – who made a gift to the Irish Fund.
