The Campus Ministry introduces theme for 2018-19 school year: Thrive
On Thursday, August 30, the Campus Ministry Team introduced their theme, Thrive, for the 2018-19 school year. The Thrive theme is meant to be an uplifting way of inspiring you to not just survive through life but to thrive in everything you do. Students, faculty, staff, and parents filled the cafeteria to watch the spirit-filled skit. The Campus Ministry team does skits, retreats, and other activities all throughout the school year.
Ms. Previto states: “As Christians, we’re supposed to do the norm, but today, and everyday, we need to go above the norm. I think today really showcased that and inspired people to go above the norm, and to not survive but to Thrive in everything they do.”
Senior Sydney Biggs said, “We worked so hard, we put in so much time and effort, and I’m so glad all of our hard work paid off. I’m so proud of the team and I cannot wait to see what the rest of the year holds for us.”
The Campus Ministry Team hosts a class retreat for every grade. The student body loves the Campus Ministry Team, and likes getting involved in their faith in a fun and exciting way.
