The Foundation of St. Patrick to host Inaugural Event on Sunday, April 9

The Foundation of St. Patrick will be hosting an Inaugural Event on Sunday, April 9, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The Dock in Gulfport.  We invite all Catholic education stakeholders to learn more about the Foundation of St. Patrick.

Dear St. Patrick Supporter,

St. Patrick Catholic High School is continuing the legacy of strong Catholic education on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. In celebrating its 10th anniversary, St. Patrick Catholic High School has continued the rich tradition of its predecessors; St. John High School, Mercy Cross High School, Sacred Heart High School, and Notre Dame High School, by excelling in education, sportsmanship, religious growth and community outreach. Over the past decade, the students of St. Patrick Catholic High School have provided over 100,000 hours of community service and student athletes have captured over thirty state championship titles including soccer, track, cross country, softball, golf, dance, and sailing. Our scholars have accumulated over 80 million dollars in scholarships and we have a 99% college matriculation rate. Quite remarkable, especially for only ten years!

The Foundation of St. Patrick was formed to assist in its endeavor to not only continue its current standard of excellence, but to continue to strive for even greater achievements. Our mission is to promote the interest, welfare, and success of St. Patrick Catholic High School and in doing so, the success of its students. The Foundation of St. Patrick provides supporters of Catholic education a tax deductible means of providing donations to support St. Patrick Catholic High School. Donations collected through the Foundation of St. Patrick are used to provide St. Patrick Catholic High School with immediate assistance with development projects, tuition assistance and teacher bonuses. In addition, a portion of those donations are placed into a perpetual fund whose investment growth will provide the school with long-term support.

St. Patrick Catholic High School is doing an amazing job of shaping the future leaders of our coast, state, and country. Together, we can increase enrollment, provide additional academic and athletic opportunities, and continue to build the premier undergraduate academic institution on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The Foundation of St. Patrick is an independent 501(C)3 tax exempt entity, and a portion of all donations will be invested in long term growth strategies.  The initial goals of the foundation have been identified as free transportation to the school, tuition assistance, and increasing teacher compensation.
