Track And Field State Results
The Fighting Irish track and field recently had their award banquet after coming off a great season. The Girls placed third amongst 50 schools in the 3A division while the boys got 2nd Place State Runner Up:
Here are the results from the State Track Meet.
For the men:
800 meter run – Jack Hewes in 1st / Luke Meyers in 2nd
1600 meter run – Jack Hewes in 1st / Tristan Davis in 3rd
3200 meter run: Tristan Davis in 1st / Jack Hewes in 2nd / Luke Meyers in 4th
For the women:
800 meter run – Bella Jordan in 2nd / Jayden Ware in 4th
1600 meter run – Jayden Ware in 3rd
3200 meter run – Lillieann Bentz in 2nd place
300 meter hurdles – Lila Berglund in 5th place
AK Thriffiley – 1st Place in Pole vault with 9’0 / Taylor Jernigan in 3rd with 8’06 / Annabelle Tarrant in 4th with 8’06
Both the men and women finished first in the 4×800 meter relay
