Track & Field Team participates in 1st Annual Olan Welch Invitational

The Fighting Irish Track & Field Team had a strong performance during the 1st Annual Olan Welch Invitational on Thursday, March 7.

The men finished as the seventh overall team and had numerous top place finishers, listed below.

• Hunter Lorenzo had a first place finish in the boys shot put at 42’ 7’’ and set the record at St. Patrick
• Second Place in 4×800 Meter Relay

The women’s team finished as the fifth overall team and had several top finishes, including:

• Olivia Leatherman in Pole Vault (Third Place)
• Makenzie Stenum in High Jump (Third Place)
• Leila Ransonet in Triple Jump (Second Place)
• Alayna Miller in 100 Meter Hurdles (Third Place)
• Jordan Pete in 1600 Meter Run (Third Place)
• Isabel Leatherman in 800 Meter Run (Second Place)
• Second Place in 4×800 Meter Relay
