Trevor Green ’09 Speaks with Students About Career in Engineering

Today, Trevor Green ’09 visited with the students of Ms. Debbie Worrel’s engineering class about his journey from graduating from St. Patrick to his engineering career.

Green holds an undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in computer engineering. After serving in a role at IBM Power Systems designing computer processing units Green returned to the Mississippi Gulf Coast to take a position with PFG Precision Optics. One of the things that Green stressed to students is about happiness in their work-life balance.

“In engineering, you can go in different directions. If you don’t like what you are doing, you can always get an MBA or other master’s. You know math. You know physics. You know how to solve problems. Engineering allows you to do what you want to do,” said Green.
