Two Irish Athletes Named Coast Prep Player of The Week

Two Fighting Irish Athletes were honored as the coast’s best over the weekend by the Sun Herald. Hunter Lorenzo ’22 and Anna Katherine Thriffiley  ’25 were voted to the top of the Sun Herald’s week-long poll for the successes at the MHSAA’s 2A State Championships.

Both the men’s and women’s track teams were crowned as 2A state champions, with the women securing their third state title in a row.
