Williams attends Youth Leadership Workshop

JACKSON, Miss.- Olivia Williams ’23 was one of 66 high school juniors from across the state to participate in the Electric Cooperatives of Mississippi’s 35th Youth Leadership Workshop in Jackson. The program instills leadership skills, inspires creative thinking, encourages community service and introduces students to legislative elected officials from their communities.

Williams earned the trip to the workshop following a competitive selection process sponsored by Coast Electric. She will travel to Washington D.C. in June for a six-day youth leadership tour.
