Women’s Varsity Soccer Team takes on Sacred Heart

On Thursday, January 10, the St. Patrick Women’s Varsity Soccer Team played an intense game at Sacred Heart. The girls put up an amazing fight but unfortunately did not come out victorious. The Lady Irish, however, are not letting this defeat get them down. They are more determined than ever to give each and every game their absolute best shot. The Women’s Varsity Soccer Team is ready to take on Sacred Heart again in the playoffs and beat the Crusaders.

Women’s Varsity Soccer Team player Camille Seghers says, “It was a tough loss against Sacred Heart, but we are still in the playoffs, and I really think we can come back and beat them.”

The girls are putting up a great fight this season, defeating OLA last night 1-0 in overtime! Come out and support your Lady Irish Varsity Soccer Team at their next home game against Resurrection next Thursday, January 24, at 5:30 p.m.
