Tony Bonura named Director of Mission and Operations
St. Patrick Catholic High School is excited to announce Mr. Tony Bonura has been hired as the Director of Mission and Operations. Mr. Bonura comes to St. Patrick with more than 23 years of dedicated leadership experience within Catholic education. He most recently served as a Principal and Chief Administrator at St. Matthew the Apostle within the Archdiocese of New Orleans, where he earned recognition by leading his school to become an Apple Distinguished School and was named the 2024 Louisiana School Leader of the Year (LACUE).
Over his distinguished career, which also includes 15 years as a Senior Administrator and Vice President at De La Salle High School, Tony has built a proven track record of transforming school enrollment, spearheading innovative technology initiatives, and managing multi-million-dollar budgets and facility operations. He has increased enrollment at two different schools by more than 200 students. An avid supporter of student development, he was also inducted into the De La Salle Athletic Hall of Fame for his contributions as Athletic Director.
Beyond his campus leadership, Tony shares his expertise on a national scale as a consultant and leadership coach for the Institute for School and Parish Development (ISPD). He holds a Master of Education in School Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Holy Cross.
Tony and his wife, Michelle, have a home in Ocean Springs, and they are blessed to be the parents of two daughters, Brooke and Alexis.
