    • To be eligible for a Bleuer scholarship, applicant must meet the following criteria: 1. Be a resident of the City of Biloxi, MS, for a minimum of three (3) consecutive years immediately prior to the initial award term. 2. Be enrolled in or graduated from an accredited high school, GED program, or community college; or be enrolled in a four-year college or university with freshman or sophomore standing. 3. Have a 3.25 GPA on all previous work with a minimum ACT composite score of 19. (A minimum 3.0 GPA as a full-time student is required to continue the award.) 4. Have demonstrated need as determined by income tax returns for the past two years.

    • Students will receive awards of $5,000 per year with a maximum of four years. Awards may cover tuition, books, room, and board. Checks for award amounts will be made out to and sent directly to the designated college/university. Awards are for undergraduate study only and are considered as gifts. All awards are subject to annual review upon receipt of grade reports and are thereby given on a yearly basis.

    • Continued permanent residency in Biloxi will be considered when yearly reapplication is made. A recipient will be limited to, but not guaranteed, a maximum of four annual awards.

    • ALL APPLICATIONS MUST INCLUDE: 1. Completed Application Form. 2. Personal Essay, typed. 3. Copies of high school and college transcripts showing Class Rank (high school only) and GPA. 4. Copies of ACT or SAT scores, if not already on transcript. 5. Signed copies of your IRS 1040 tax forms from the past two years. If you are a dependent, send copies of your parents’ or legal guardians’ tax forms. (Only pages one and two are necessary) 6.     • For the Class of 2026, AlphaCare will be awarding twenty (20) scholarships of $2,500 each. These scholarships are open to all high school seniors in Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Baldwin, Lamar, and Forrest Counties.
