PRINCIPAL DR. MATT BUCKLEY

Welcome to St. Patrick! Thank you for visiting our website!
It is with a tremendous sense of joy that we fully commit to the beautiful mission of Catholic education as part of the Catholic Diocese of Biloxi. The legacy of Catholic education reinforces the vision that we are a part of something much larger than ourselves, and we are grateful for our role in continuing this legacy among our current and
future students.
At St. Patrick Catholic High School, the primary pillars of our mission are discipleship, scholarship, and championship. Our goal is to support and motivate our students in every way possible so that they become successful both during their time at St. Patrick as well as after graduation. Our faculty and staff are highly committed and strive each day to Educate Scholars, Train Disciples and Support Champions. In doing so, we strive to create an environment where our young men and women grow in goodness first. To be good in God’s eyes, to be a good student, to be a good athlete, a good musician, a good artist—these are the goods in which we believe our young people should grow.
At St. Patrick Catholic High School, we believe in holding our young men and women to a high vision of who they can become. As a result of a rigorous academic program and the nurturing of body and soul through a commitment to the ideals of faith and Gospel
values rooted in the love of God and neighbor, our students emerge as strong, empowered, independent young men and women. We pride ourselves on providing a warm, nurturing environment with faith and academics at its core.
The vitality of Catholic education is needed now more than ever. I find St. Patrick Catholic High School to be a fortress of hope for our next generation of leaders—civic leaders, family leaders, and church leaders. By focusing on the cura personalis, we challenge our students to lead with their hearts along with their minds. The development of a student’s conscience is as important as the development of their academic skills, and we find this to be accomplished through a continued partnership with parents as we work together to strengthen each student to his or her greatest potential.
